We held a special ANZAC service on the 24 April at our Field of Remembrance. The whole school gathered around the field and we had to stand with reverence for a minute in silence while we remembered those who had fought so bravely at Gallipoli one hundred years ago. By Room 16
We were lucky to have Rowana and Elizabeth (from Room 5) and Mele (from Room 3) come to our class on Tuakana Teina Day to help us on the computers. Thank you for teaching us some more skills to use with kidpix. By Room 16
Room 16 had great fun digging and making sand castles at the beach. Ryder, Kohatu, Kamryn, Jade and Leigharna used water to make the sand damp so that they could shape the sand into castle shapes. By Room 16

We had such fun at the school picnic. We all walked down and had a day at the beach. Sitting having a picnic together with team 1 was great fun. We were also able to go swimming. Kyzel enjoyed his swim even though it was rather cold in the water. By Room 16
