Two New Super Spellers

This week we had two new 100% correct super spellers.  Well done Aaliyah and Madison for trying so hard to join the super spellers.  Well done also Terapi, Jasmine and Acera Junior for continuing your efforts to get 100%.  By Aaliyah, Madison, Terapi, Jasmine and Acera Junior.

Four Super Spellers

Last week we had four super spellers who got 100% correct in their weekly spelling test.  They were Terapi, Jasmine, Acera Junior and Naomi.  That was a good effort from you all.  Let's see how they go next week - who well join their group?  By Terapi, Jasmine, Acera Junior, Naomi.

Celebrating Tongan Language Week

For Tongan Language Week my Mum dressed up in her Tongan dress.  It has a long skirt and a top in a green and white flower pattern and the ladies wear these dresses in Tonga on special occasions. By Jasmine

Two Champion Runners

Class 19's two champion runners cross the finish line first and third.  Tisa (on the left) is following the course leader in to gain first place and Waylan (on the right in the red t shirt) came in third.  Class 19 is very proud of our champions.  Congratulations to both of you.

Two Fantastic Runners

At last the Cross Country day had come.  We have been training each day running around the field and finally it was the real race.  Tisa set a very fast pace and came in first out of the year two team and Waylan came in third.  Well done boys!  You found out that it really does pay to be a "PTA" (a person who thinks ahead)and train to be a champion.

Enjoying our new Duffy Books

Our new Duffy books arrived this week and we were all very excited to receive two new books each to take home and read with our families.  Here we all are saying a big "thank you" for our books.  By Class 19

Five Successful Super Spellers

This week 5 children from Class 19 got 100% in the spelling test.  Congratulations to Terapi, Acera Junior, Tobey, Naomi and Jasmine.  Well done for earning a Super Speller certificate.

Tisa's Spring Story
