Room 16 has had a busy first day of school for 2017 with happy faces all around.

We have finished a busy year of learning and had so much fun along the way.  Room 16 wanted to share some of the learning they have done, activities they have participated in, new sports they have learnt,  trips they have been on, films they made, events they have celebrated and school wide activities they have been part of.   Goodbye from the Shining Stars of 2016 and they hope you will follow their activities on their individual blogs in 2017.

End of Year Treats

Team one ended the year with having ice creams out under the trees.  Everyone enjoyed eating ice cream on a warm day.

Kiwi Sport for the last few weeks of term was dancing.  This involved stretching, balancing, listening to some music and using our bodies to beat time, doing a simple dance, learning steps and putting them into a dance then performing the dance for the class.  We thank Sport Auckland for the opportunity to learn something new.
