Working With Clay

 The children are enjoying working with clay at Makerspace.  They used tools to make patterns and work the clay.

Dothan's Player of the Day

 Dothan was chosen as the Player of the Day on the last day of netball last term.  She received her certificate at assembly on the last day of term.  You played a great game Dothan.

 

Helping Each Other

Dothan and Mareikura were putting together the pictures and phrases from the story "Rosie's Walk".  They helped each other work out the sequence of the story then put the phrases underneath.  What a nice way of learning together Dothan and Mareikura.

 

Banana Munchers Healthy Snacks

 Dothan and Selemana are both enjoying the same healthy snacks!  Great choice girls.

Dothan's Duffy Certificate

 Dothan was awarded a Duffy certificate for her hard word this week.

Dothans Player of the Day Certificate

 Dothan plays with the Team One Sparkles netball team.  They played a great game - defending and running to get free and then shooting a goal.  Dothan was this weeks Player of the Day.

 Team one has some very flexible girls who love having fun together at lunchtime.

At playtime and lunch time the large balls are available for the children to play with. Dothan, Sione and Kairo had fun bouncing the balls.

Following the Picture

 Dothan found a picture of what you could build with the magnetic shapes.  She carefully looked for the shapes she needed then she put the shapes together to make her building look just like the one in the picture.  You are a great builder, Dothan.

"Look what we can do!"

 Dothan and Selemana are very flexible.  When they are outside they like to show us what they can do.  Selemana and Dothan can both do the splits,  and Dothan can also do the bridge pose.  You really are like gymnasts Dothan and Selemana.
