More of Elena's Home Learning

Elena has continued to do lots of home learning.  She has collected up different coloured items from around her house and written out the colours in English and te Reo.  She has also written sentences using the te reo words.  What a lot of work you have done Elena! Keep up the great work and thanks to Elena's Mum for taking the time to send me the photos.

Elena's Home Learning Story

Elena's Puppets

As well as making a wonderful book about Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Elena has been busy making puppets to be able to use when retelling the story.  Great work Elena.  You have done a great job following the instructions to make your beautiful bears.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears By Elena

One of our tasks last week was to make a book shaped like the Three Bears house and write a few sentences about Goldilocks and the Three Bears in it.  Elena was very proud to email me her wonderful book with illustrations on each page and so much writing.  You are like a real author, Elena.  Thank you for sharing it with me.

Elena's Exercise Challenge

During this time of Lockdown when we can't play team sports, Ms Va'afusuaga set Pt England an exercise challenge to help keep us fit.  Elena took up the challenge to do the exercises and here is a video of Elena doing exercises to spell out her name.  What a great effort Elena.

Elena's Writing

Elena has been doing lots of story writing as well as learning to write her numbers.  I wonder where you managed to find your Easter Eggs on your Easter Hunt.  Did you have to look really hard for them?  You have drawn a beautiful picture of a rabbit in your other story.  You have added lots of detail and made him look lovely and fluffy.  Great work Elena.

Elena's Home Learning

Elena has been keen to keep learning during the lockdown.  Her Mum has sent me some pictures of her learning and a video of Elena saying our school karakia and doing maths.  Keep up the good work Elena - I like the way you have also been doing a picture about your work too.
