Cranes

I made a Duplo crane but it wasn't very strong.  Then I watched the big crane that lifted Room 2 into its new place.  It had big weights on it so I put "weights" on my crane and made it stronger so it could lift heavy things too.  By Giovanni

What Ever Happened to Room Two?

Last night, did King Kong visit our school because a class got carried away?  Room two went from one side of the school to the other side.  King Kong would have had to step over the other classrooms.  Luckily he didn't crush them. By AJ and Giovanni

Fun at the Pool

We are swimming in the pool together and making lots of splashes.  It is fun learning to swim with our class.  By Te Waka and Giovanni

"Thump in the Playground."

"THUMP!  What was that noise in our playground? Was it Tyrannosaurus Rex walking around?  Was it thunder? No it was a huge big tree branch that the man cut down with a chain saw.  It fell to the ground with a tremendous thump."

"Another machine cut it all up into little pieces.  I wonder if those little pieces will end up in our playground as bark to keep us safe?"

Photo Time

Giovanni enjoyed having his photo taken today and he wrote his story about it.   "Taking my photo was cool.  I showed my best manners to the teacher.  I was good.  I stood up nicely and we went back to class."

Giovanni is now in Class 19.
