Leylah's Work

 Leylah continues to do her online home learning.  Each day she answers the maths and reading questions.  You obviously listen carefully to the stories Leylah to get all the answers right.

  

The Elves And The Shoemaker

 Today's learning was based on the fairy story The Elves and the Shoemaker.  AJ was able to answer all the reading questions and the maths.  He even counting in 2s to find out how many shoes in 8 pairs.  What good maths thinking on how to quickly count the shoes you had drawn AJ and get the right answer!

Leylah's Family

 For Inquiry we are looking at our family.  Leylah was able to write about who was in her family and she included her pets - two dogs.  You were able to answer all the questions on our story today.  Well done Leylah.

 

Team 1 Celebrates Loud Shirt Day

 Last Friday Team 1 celebrated Loud Shirt Day.  Some of the children cut out and decorated shirts, some painted or decorated a store bought t-shirt while others wore their favourite bright shirt.  Here is our movie of the day. 

A Book Written and Illustrated By AJ

 AJ has written and illustrated a book about his family.  He has thought about what each member of his family likes to do, drawn a picture then written his sentence.  You have done so much work AJ and made a lovely book.

Leylah Celebrates Halloween

 Leylah put up decorations to celebrate Halloween at her place.  The orange spiders web even has spiders in it.  I like the orange balloon jack o lanterns.  That is a great alternative to making them out of pumpkins which can be a bit difficult. Leylah looks very pretty in her Halloween costume.

Counting in 10s Comes In Handy

 AJ has learnt how to count in 10s up to 200 and today he was able to use all his practise to solve a maths problem.  Good work,
