Kalylah's and Mele's Gingerbread Man Stories

We used a picture from the story of "The Gingerbread Man" for our writing.

Kalylah looked very carefully at the picture and noticed a bird watching what the fox was up to.  She wrote

"Bird is watching the fox.  He is worried about the Gingerbread Man because Fox is a sly fox.  Fox is looking at the bird.  He wonders does Bird know I plan to eat the delicious Gingerbread Man all up and leave no crumbs for him?"

Mele thought about fox tricking poor Gingerbread Man when she wrote -

"The fox is sly.  He wanted the Gingerbread Man to hop on the foxes tail.  He was too heavy for foxes tail.  The Gingerbread Man hopped on the foxes back and then his nose."
