Making Kite Tails Fly

At Makerspace the children are making kites.  They tested materials to see what would make good kite tails and found crepe paper was light enough to fly and so would make good kite tails.

Munching ANZAC Biscuits

After our school clean up we came inside and read some books about ANZAC Day and munched some ANZAC biscuits.

"ANZAC biscuits are golden brown and delicious," said Jeremiah.

Yoghurt Treats

All the children enjoyed receiving a yoghurt treat.

Cooper the Reading Dog

Room 16 children were introduced to Cooper the Reading Dog when he came for a visit to school.  They learnt how to approach him if they wanted to give him a pat and that he didn't like his tail patted.  We hope to see more of Cooper when he visits again.
