Thursday Certificates

Even though we can't get together to have Team One Assembly we have been having our own assembly each day.  Since the children have been working so hard in class, it was only fitting that we continue the Thursday certificate routine.  It was very hard to choose but Peyton has been doing some outstanding thinking in Maths and Joelle has been learning her high frequency words so she can write words in her stories and also recognise them in our flashcard games.  Well done girls!

Olivia receives her Duffy Certificate

Olivia received a Duffy Certificate for swimming back in Term 1 but she was away when it was awarded.  Mr Burt recently found some certificates which hadn't been given out and Olivia's was amongst them.  She was very happy to receive her certificate and a book.

On the last Friday assembly before lockdown Cruze was awarded a Player of the Day certificate for his efforts in Rippa Rugby.  Cruze enjoys playing Rippa Rugby and he listens carefully to his coach.  Great job, Cruze.

More of Elena's Home Learning

Elena has continued to do lots of home learning.  She has collected up different coloured items from around her house and written out the colours in English and te Reo.  She has also written sentences using the te reo words.  What a lot of work you have done Elena! Keep up the great work and thanks to Elena's Mum for taking the time to send me the photos.

Joelle's Home Learning

Joelle has been very busy doing her maths home learning.  Her Mum sent me these pictures of Joelle having fun with her little sister and completing worksheets from her learning pack.  Keep up all the learning Joelle and thanks to Joelle's Mum for encouraging her to keep learning at home.
