Snacktime Super Heroes

It was Room 16's lucky day - we had three Snack Time Super Heroes this week.  They were Raymond, Leakona and Tamaimon.  Here they are with their choices from the snack time cupboard.

Shapes On Our iPads

We have been making some Matariki stars on our iPads.

Sabian with her Matariki banner and stars

Selemana with a beautiful rainbow star

Royston making groups of two stars

Mareikura with 9 stars for Matariki

Faauma with her stars

A Smile from Francis

When Francis arrives at school he always greets me with a smile.  Thank you for brightening up our days with your lovely smile Francis.  Here he is with his best smile when he received his Duffy Certificate.

Going Shopping

Mareikura was very busy shopping at our class shop.  Here she is with her two shopping baskets of food.

Banana Munchers Healthy Snacks

Dothan and Selemana are both enjoying the same healthy snacks!  Great choice girls.

Mareikura's Special Sticker

When you are 5 it can be a bit scary answering the question "What's the korero?" in front of the whole school at assembly.  Mareikura's hand shot up when the prefects ask the question and she was able to answer "Be Kind".  She went and stood up the front and received her special sticker.  Well done Mareikura.

Team Certificates for Week 7

Harley and Maia have been working hard this week so they received certificates for Room 16 at Team Assembly.   Harley got a really good "I can try this" attitude towards his learning and Maia has been a great team member.
