Room 16 Visits The Zoo
Team one recently went to the zoo. When we first started looking at the animals they all seemed to have slept in. But it wasn't long before we found some animals who were wide awake and we were able to watch them playing and being fed by the keepers. We saw so many animals and had a great day at the zoo.

Repairing The Window Winders
Today Mr Shaw and Mr Andrew came to repair our window winder. They used an electric drill and we learnt how it put the screws into the wall. It also provided a discussion on how a screw is a thread fastener as well as being a simple machine. Thank you Mr Shaw and Mr Andrew for our impromptu science lesson and for letting us look at some of the tools you use.

Isabella's Story about "The Lion and the Mouse".
Isabella shared her reading book with her parents over the weekend and she enjoyed the story so much that she wrote about it on Monday. "The Lion and the Mouse" is a funny story because you wonder how a mouse can help a big lion. It all turns out fine in the end.
"In the weekend I did my reading to my Mum and Dad. I read "The Lion and the Mouse". It was a funny story about a mouse helping a lion."
