Team Certificates 2020

Team Certificates for Week 2. On the left is Carnita and Taylor

In team one, Thursday is certificate day at team assembly.  Today we had our first team assembly and it was very hard to pick just two children to receive a certificate from Room 16.  They have all been working very hard at being kind to each other, listening to the teacher and finishing off their work.  Taylor has worked hard on learning to write his name, even practising at home.  Carnita has been taking pride in her work.  She has been very neat in her colouring and writing and helpful around the class.   Well done to both students.

Having Milk And Fruit

This morning we had milk delivered to our class and the children enjoyed sitting outside drinking a carton of nice cold milk with a straw.  We also had some yummy plums to eat.

Another New Buddy for Room 16

Elena started in Room 16 this week.  She has already made friends and she likes joining in all the class activities.  Welcome to Pt England, Elena.

Sports Rotation

On Friday afternoon we have our sports rotation.  The children enjoyed getting outside and playing three different games.

New Buddies for Room 16.

We have had 7 new buddies join our class.  They received their book bags at assembly on Friday and proudly displayed.

Jacob has had a good start to the year, listening to instructions and trying to do the right thing so he was Room 16's first Duffy Award winner for 2020.

Chad Is A Lunchbox Hero

Chad enjoys eating a healthy lunch.  He has lots of fruit and he even likes eating green beans grown by his family.  Chad was lucky enough to get his name drawn out of the box and he chose some yummy pears.  I hope you enjoy them with your family Chad.
