Learning How to Use Our iPads

We have had fun learning how to use some of the tools on our iPads by listening hard and following the instructions.  We learnt how to look after our iPads, take photos in Explain Everything, put them into a new document and then close the document when we have finished.  At first the children found it hard to take a good photo but with practise and patience they are now great at making sure what they are taking a photo of is in the middle of the screen.

Fun and Games at Kiwisport

We had our first session of Kiwisport this week.  The children learnt three new games and through the games learnt about balance - head up, eyes straight ahead, aeroplane arms.

Team Certificates 2020

In team one, Thursday is certificate day at team assembly.  Today we had our first team assembly and it was very hard to pick just two children to receive a certificate from Room 16.  They have all been working very hard at being kind to each other, listening to the teacher and finishing off their work.  Taylor has worked hard on learning to write his name, even practising at home.  Carnita has been taking pride in her work.  She has been very neat in her colouring and writing and helpful around the class.   Well done to both students.

Having Milk And Fruit

This morning we had milk delivered to our class and the children enjoyed sitting outside drinking a carton of nice cold milk with a straw.  We also had some yummy plums to eat.
