Super Movie Making Helpers

 Mareikura and Leakona helped with making our class movie.  They were prepared to do their part until it was just right so they were both awarded a team certificate this week.  Thank you both for being so helpful.

Team One Winners

 On the 16 September the school wide Cross Country was held.  Team one has been practising for the big event and they took to the field on Friday afternoon and ran like professionals, keeping going until the end.  Room 16 was well represented by two third places - Titan in the boys race and Selemana in the girls race.  Well done all the runners who participated.  You all did so well.

 On the last day of netball, Mareikura was awarded the player of the day certificate.  Here she is with the certificate that was awarded to her at assembly.

Duffy Certificate Winners

Francis was Room 16's Duffy Certificate for week 8

 Francis was awarded this weeks Duffy Certificate for Room 16.  Francis has been a kind friend and he has been working hard with his reading and writing.  Others to collect their certificates from previous weeks were Dion and Te Hiritanga

A New Buddy For Room 16

 We have a new buddy to Room 16, Dion.  Welcome Dion to Point England School and to Room 16.

Francis's Lucky Day

 Francis was our Duffy winner this week and he also had his name drawn out of the Snacktime Super Hero draw.

How High Can You Go?

 Cheveu enjoyed building a tower with the domino blocks.  She found that the higher up the tower got the more careful she had to be placing the next block on.  Well done Cheveu for being patient and careful and building up such a high tower.
