Kia ora, Mike. Thank you for taking the time to comment on our class blog. The children were very excited to find out where Portland is on Goggle and also to see pictures of your beautiful city. They found similarities between Auckland and Portland - a bridge, water and big buildings. The children also learnt that we are on the opposite sides of the Pacific Ocean. It was a great learning opportunity and reminded the children what Mr Burt (our Principal) says ,"You never know who is watching your blogs to learn about you." From Room 16
