Duffy Award Term 4 Week 1

Hitelenisia was our Duffy Award winner in week one of our new term.  She has been trying very hard to write stories by herself and to sound out a word and write down the sounds she can hear.  Well done Hitelenisia for trying to write words yourself.

Ofili's Duffy Certificate

Thank you for sharing your Duffy Book "Giraffes can't Dance" with us, Ofili.  We all enjoyed the story.  You have been working well helping your group in Maths.

Utukura's Duffy Certificate

Utukura has been helping me tidy up the classroom after school while he waits for his sister to collect him.  He wasn't asked to help but he saw the chairs weren't up and some of the things weren't in the right place so he decided to use his "helping hands" to help.  Thank you Utukura for seeing what needed to be done and doing something about it.

Khittamai's Duffy Certificate

This weeks Duffy Certificate (Week 4 of term 2) was awarded to Khittamai.  Khittamai has been listening carefully in writing.  He is writing his own stories and practising his writing at home.  Well done Khittamai for putting in the extra effort to get things right.

Duffy Award Term 2 Week 3

Hitelenisia was awarded a Duffy Certificate for writing some great stories during the week.  She chose a book about sea turtles which she shared with the class.

Duffy Award Winner For Week 10 Term 1

Corenilias has been working hard to get his Inquiry project finished so he was awarded the Duffy Award for week 10 of Term 1.  He also shared his book with us and we learnt some fascinating facts about spiders.

Kalylah's Duffy Award

Kalylah has been practising her reading each night at home as well as putting lots of effort into her follow up reading activities on her iPad, so she was the winner of Room 16's Duffy Award for week 7 in Term 1.

A Duffy Award for Filipo

Filipo is kind and helpful to his classmates, showing them what to do and comforting them when they need a friend so he received Room 16's Duffy Award in week 2 of Term 1.  Thank you Filipo for sharing your book.  We all enjoyed "The Bath Monster" and we hope your family enjoyed reading it with you.
