Using our iPads for Inquiry

This term in Inquiry we have been thinking about healthy eating and other ways we can keep our self fit and healthy.  At the end of the term the children had to do an activity on their iPad using the skills they have learnt such as copy, paste and duplicate to show what they had learnt.  Here are three of the children at work on the task.

Planning and Constructing A Marble Run

On the last day of term the children had fun using what they had learnt during Term 2 Inquiry to build a marble run.  They were soon busy planning and building, cutting and taping up boxes and bits and pieces.  The fun part was testing out the marble runs and looking at what other groups had made and getting the other groups to explain how they had made their marble run.  It was a fun end to our simple machines inquiry.

Using IPads in their Learning

Logan and Fateh having been using their iPads to complete reading activities.  Logan was asked to draw a picture of what the hungry hedgehog liked to eat and Fateh found he needed to take a picture to insert in his work.  Good work boys that you remembered the skills you needed to help with your reading activities.
